Consortium Mission and Vision
Consortium Name
The official name of the consortium is the Data Governance and Digital Transformation Industry-Academia Consortium (hereinafter referred to as “the Consortium”).
The Consortium originated from the “Smart Sensing and Cloud Services Industry-Academia Consortium” founded in 2013 by Professor Yaw-Hwang Kuo of National Cheng Kung University. It continues to uphold the spirit of forward-thinking innovation and sustainable development in serving academia-industry teams.
Mission Statement
The Consortium is a non-profit industrial alliance organization. Based on a collaborative team of professors across universities, regions, and disciplines, it aims to consolidate the strengths of domestic industry, government, academia, and research sectors. Through effective resource integration, it seeks to assist industries in upgrading application technologies, enhancing innovation and R&D capabilities, improving product competitiveness in the global market, and promoting the leadership of domestic data governance technologies within the national market.

The main members of the Consortium include National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, National Cheng Kung University, National Central University, National University of Tainan, National Pingtung University, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Chaoyang University of Technology, and Shu-Te University.
With a cross-university, cross-regional, and interdisciplinary faculty team as the operational core, the Consortium integrates industry-academia-research capabilities to provide services such as ICT and cybersecurity consulting, collaborative product development, talent cultivation, and talent matching. These efforts aim to enhance the competitiveness of the industry.
