Alliance Name

The alliance is named “Data Governance and Digital Transformation Industry-Academia Consortium.” The Consortium’s precursor was the “Smart Sensing and Cloud Services Industry-Academia Consortium” founded by Professor Yao-Huang Guo of National Cheng Kung University in 2013. The Consortium embodies a forward-looking and innovative spirit, dedicated to sustainable service to industry and academia.

Mission and Objectives

The Consortium is a non-profit industry alliance organization. It is based on a group of professors from different universities across regions and fields, and it aims to bring together resources from industry, government, academia, and research. Its primary objectives include facilitating technological upgrades for industries, strengthening innovation and research and development capabilities, enhancing international competitiveness of products, and promoting the leadership position of domestic data governance-related technologies in the domestic market.

Support Provided by the Operating Institutions

The Consortium members primarily come from institutions such as National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, National Cheng Kung University, National Central University, National University of Tainan, National Pingtung University, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Chaoyang University of Technology, and Shu-Te University. The Consortium’s operations are led by professors spanning different universities, regions, and fields. It offers services that include technology consulting in the fields of electronics, information and communication, and security, product development collaborations, talent development, and matchmaking, all with the goal of enhancing industrial competitiveness.
